The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

Despite owning a lot of creams/cleansers/oils/toners/moisturisers etc, my philosophy towards skin care is to keep it fairly simple. One reason being that i have quite dry and sensitive skin, I find using a mixture of different products can result in my face becoming a lovely shade of red. The other reason being I'm quite lazy. I was really skeptical about using cleansing oils, as I usually have a few small under the skin spots lurking about on my forehead, but decided to brave it anyway with The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil . And I'm seriously chuffed that I did.

This is used this as my first step of cleansing. You only need one or two pumps of the oil onto to dry hands and rub together, then massage into our face and focus on the on the eye area last so any eye make up doesn't spread everywhere (sometimes I use an eye make up remover before this). The final stage of washing it off varies but I just splash a bit of water onto my face, rub all over to emulsify the oil and lift the dirt and make-up off and then rinse off with water.
Many people have stated that a face cloth is needed to get rid of the oil, but as long as you use a good toner or second cleanser after this, then it's not a necessity. After patting dry, I soak a cotton wool pad with Bioderma Micelle water and wipe over my face, then moisturise.

Since adding this to my skin care routine on a night, I no longer get small spots on my forehead, my skin is softer, less sensitive and no dry patches anywhere! This is so gentle on the skin, yet surprisingly really effective at removing all traces of make up without scrubbing so is perfect for all you delicate flowers. I have always been a firm believer in The Body Shop as they tend to use natural, skin friendly products, and this oil is no exception.

The only downside to it is that it can get a tad messy, and if your like me who is usually a cotton wool and cleanser in bed kinda gal, then this does require a bit if effort.

Laaandon Fashion Week

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
What better time to start a blog a few weeks after London Fashion Week, when Britain can brag its lovely little heart out, showing off the fashion capital of the wooorrrld and spread its beauty. Even Bianca out of Eastenders looks hot off the catwalk with her metallic bubble coat and pastel trousers.  Shine on Bianca, Shine on.

I've gathered my fav looks from the catwalks and instead of telling everyone i see about what i love, and hate and want etc, i thought id get em' on here.

Colours
Pastels are EVERYWHERE.

Everyone who's who in fashion will be donning delicious pastel shades somewhere on their body. Start your spring with ice cream shades of mint, baby pink and lilac. Whether its candy pink hair, to mint ice cream brogues its time to stop messing around and get into the pastel spirit! Now's the time to start copying your nan with her blue rinse, she's so in right now with her lil' candy head!

Check out them beastly shoes.  One small step for ..er..woman. One giant platform for woman kind. I would love nothing more than to clomp around my local supermarket in these, but sometimes, as my mum would say.. less is more. I think these Doc Martens in the pastel shades collection will suffice (LOVE THE LILAC ONES).

I am lost without my lippie and for those pastel lovers out there,Lime Crime Lipsticks are not to be messed around with, they are total SHOW STOPPERS.
Barry M range in Superdrug do amazing pastel lipsticks that last all day for a fraction of the price.  The best ones are 'Palest Lavender' and 'Baby Pink'.

Prints
Its all about the prints, prints, prints darlings. You got your floral, tribal, mexican, animal, digital and the 80s have called, they want their print back. The big theme is America, after all the British loving and flag parading we did in 2012, i'm suprised this managed to sneek into the LFW. But its hard not to love the big college jackets and baseball tee's.
Join the clashing prints brigade to keep your summer zany, and steal the sunshine's limelight.
From left to right, across the top.

Must Have Outfit Pieces
Cropped Polo Neck -
Gail Platt, YES, GAIL PLATT may just have become a style icon. Rarely a day goes by when she isn't wearing a polo neck. They have been seen up and down the 2013 catwalks, so its pretty official that polo necks are back, with a bit of a revamp. Gone are the 50 shades of beige, long sleeved and over sized polo necks, its all about the cropped and colourful. They team really well with oversized, statements necklaces and with high-waisted trousers. Thats my summer sorted.

Trousers-
Women are wearing the trousers high and proud at the minute. They have made a major comeback and are definitely here to stay. People laughed at Simon Cowells ridiculously high trousers, but I wont lie to ya, i'm wanting to know where he got them from and can I have a pair please?! Luckily, every high street have gone wild with the trousers, and have the most gorgeous prints and fabrics around. Many people thing that they can not get away with wearing trousers, or dont suit them, but i think its about finding the right pair. For me, the higher and jazzier the better. And I prefer the looser fabric trousers instead of the cigarette trousers. A'men to the joggers. Ive never worn joggers in my life, but the Topshop collection has put an end to this, they are comfy, don't look like i'm oafing about and are super high waisted. Love is in the air for me with these Topshop printed joggers.

These stripey Zara trousers are fitting with the monochrome trend and are perfect for all shapes and sizes.

Feet
Thank god the ballet flats are long gone and the Heels are back in. Layyyyydeesss we are in for a treat, not only are heels back in, but they are the type that are..wait for it... EASY to walk in. Flatforms, Chunky heels and jelly shoes are all on the feet of all the trendsetters and i'm making the most of it. I would normally associate heels worn during the day with office workers and shorties, but they add a playfulness and statement to ANY outfit. Even your bog standard jeans and tee looks like a newly, exciting combo when teamed with some flatforms or chunky heels and socks.
Pointed stilettos have wiggled their way along the catwalks, theres something so glamourous and adventurous about them. When worn with a laid back outfit, there is an instant glamour about it. Adding a whole new dimension to the 'smart, casual' look.

'It girl'
No hommage to LFW can be made without mentioning the one and only Cara. She's graced the major catwalks of.. and her face is in every magazine going. She's stunning. She's got eyebrows to die for and her last name is far away from the usual jones or smith.

I love love love all the high street clothing at the moment, and how you can incorporate any fashion into your individual style. I think this era of fashion will definitely be one of those times that people look back on and still love.
My lust list for this summer is all about the printed dresses worn with some cute socks and pastel docs. REALLY need to buy myself a pair of dungarees, can never go wrong with em', worn with a long sleeved crop top underneath and i might dig out some jelly shoes!

Ciao for now
